As I’m sure I don’t need to tell you, sometimes life has other plans for you. My plan was to release “Upstairs” on the 20th of September.
I’ll spare you the medical details, but my daughter got sick over the summer and between the hospital stay and all the doctors’ appointments, it sucked up most of my free time. Which led to more delays than I’d expected in finishing up the final edits, artwork, and all the clerical bits and pieces that go into releasing a book.
If you’ve pre-ordered, you’ve already gotten an email from me about the change in date. The new release date is slated for January 20th, 2026. Which seems like both forever from now and just around the corner at the same time.
As of yesterday, I finished the final editing and formatting. Today I’ll start looking for my artist to handle the book cover and jacket creation.
